Albert L. Turner Law School Visits

The Office of Admissions & Financial Assistance will conduct in-person tours of the law school during the week. If you are interested in taking a tour of the law school, book your appointment here. Within 24-48 hours, our office will follow up confirming the day and time of your tour. We look forward to seeing you back in person soon!

The Office of Admissions offers prospective students the opportunity to chat with our Legal Eagles and ask questions about the law school, student life, or any questions that you may have as you prepare for your legal education.

Class Visits

During the fall and spring semesters, prospective students may virtually visit NCCU Law classes. Prospective students have the opportunity to virtually visit classes in either the day or evening programs.

If you are interested in attending a class at one of the times listed below, please complete the Registration Form at least 72 hours prior to the date of the class visit that you would like to attend. Within 24-48 hours of receiving your registration, you will receive an email confirmation with a Zoom link.

Open House

Open House is a unique opportunity to learn about NCCU Law resources, to hear from current Legal Eagles and faculty members, and to learn about the admissions process.

The 2021-2022 Open House will be on the following dates:

  • Friday, September 30, 2022 from 12:00-2:00pm (Hybrid)
  • Friday, January 20, 2023 from 12:00-2:00pm (Hybrid)

Virtual Information Sessions

The Office of Admissions will host a monthly Virtual Informational Session. During the information session, you are welcome to ask questions about the admissions process. You may drop into the session or remain for the entire presentation. The Info Sessions will begin at 12:00 pm and typically run for an hour. Please see below for the upcoming dates. Pre-Law Advisor Virtual Sessions 

An event for the Pre-Law Advisors and their students to learn more about NCCU Law. The 45-minute program will feature a panel discussion with faculty, staff, and current students.

If you are a Pre-Law Advisor and would like to have your students attend a virtual session on one of the dates provided, please send an email request to law_recruiter@nccu.edu.  In your email, please include your name, a telephone number, and the name of your college or university. You will receive an email with zoom instructions after the session for your pre-law group is confirmed.   

Admitted Student Day Program

This program gives admitted students an opportunity to speak with faculty, staff and current students about NCCU Law community, the rigors of law studies, and the Legal Eagle Experience. The Admitted Student Day program is by invitation only. Admitted students will receive registration information via email after their acceptance.

Representatives of NCCU School of Law participate in law, graduate and professional school fairs throughout the country.

You are invited to attend any of these programs and meet with an admissions representative to ask questions, learn more about our broad based academic programs, top ranking clinical programs, and our vibrant and engaged community.
