NCCU School of Law launches a two-week orientation program called “Flight School” designed to equip incoming first-year students for success in law school. The program introduces students to essential academic skills, including case reading and case briefing, as well as other fundamental competencies necessary for their legal studies.
The first week of the program, starting August 5, features a daily speaker series titled “Succeeding in Law School.” This series hosts prominent figures from the legal community who share their experiences and insights to motivate and inspire students as they embark on their legal journey.
Guests include The Honorable Michael R. Morgan ‘79, North Carolina House Democratic Leader Robert Rieves, Attorney Chazlé Woodley ‘22, Liberty Mutual Sr. Counsel Patrick Hannah ‘00, and Chancellor Karrie Dixon.
