Six teams participated in the 2022 Legal Design Derby from NCCU, Duke, Elon, Campbell and Wake Forest law schools.
Students used human-centered design principles to develop and refine a prototype that answered the question, “How might students and law schools prepare for future paradigms of legal service delivery?“
Faculty members Jeff Ward and Kelli Raker from Duke Law and Reina Haque from Wake Forest Law schools served as facilitators.
Guidance was provided by practicing attorneys and trained design thinking leaders Professor Diane Littlejohn and NCCU Law student Hillary Teoyotl
and Sharma Vemuri from Lexis Nexis.
