Law & Tech Symposium and Summit

NCCU Technology Law and Policy Center hosted the 2024 Law and Technology Symposium and Summit on Oct. 10-11. The two-day event was a comprehensive exploration of legal and technology topics, featuring discussions on generative artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare, data privacy, cybersecurity, emerging tech policy, and legal services regulation. Industry experts, policymakers, and technologists convened to delve into these critical issues, with keynote speaker Nicol Turner Lee from The Brookings Institution offering valuable insights. U.S. Reps. Valerie Foushee and Deborah Ross emphasized the importance of bridging innovation and regulation for societal benefit. This summit highlighted the increasing demand for attorneys skilled in emerging technologies and the necessity of inclusive dialogue on tech-related policies.

Our 85th Anniversary

This year marks our 85th Anniversary. In celebration, NCCU School of Law will host a series of events to engage alumni and friends. The festivities will span the entire year and culminate in a gala event in October.  Learn more about the year-long celebration and schedule of events.

Technology Law and Policy center

NCCU School of Law was awarded a five-million-dollar, five -year social equity grant that provides summer internships for law students at Intel Corporation, mentoring, networking and scholarship opportunities for students.
