Biography

Joyner joined the North Carolina Central University School of Law Library on August 1, 2017 as the Library’s Digital Services Librarian.

Prior to coming to North Carolina Central, Joyner worked at the University of Georgia Law Library as a Research and Instructional Services Librarian (2015-2017). While completing her Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science, she worked as a Reference Associate at Loyola University New Orleans, College of Law Library (2013-2015).

Joyner is an active member of the law library profession. Currently a member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (SEAALL); she serves on committees and juries and continues to volunteer with caucuses and special interest sections. Joyner has presented at national and regional conferences including SEAALL, Computer Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI), and Georgia International Conference on Information Literary.
