Congratulations to Judge Craig James ‘96 appointed by Governor Roy Cooper to serve as district court judge in Judicial District 11 (Harnett, Johnston, and Lee counties). Judge James will fill the vacancy created by the election of the Judge Paul Holcombe to superior court judge.
Judge James has served as a district court judge since April 2022. He earned his Bachelor of Arts and his Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
