Spring 2021 Commencement Decorum Agreement
All students who are planning to march in the Spring 2021 Commencement are required to read, sign, and submit to the Registrar’s Office the North Carolina Central University Commencement Decorum Agreement. Please see the attached document. Once you have read the Agreement, please sign and e-mail the completed document to the Registrar’s Office ( registrar@nccu.edu ) on or before May 3, 2021. NCCU Law Graduation Composite photo sessions are taking place at the law school, by appointment only, on May 4th & 5th. You can pre-register for a photo session only if you have submitted your Graduate Employment Survey in Symplicity. For details or to pre-register please contact the Office of the Associate Dean of Students at lawstudentaffairs@nccu.edu or call (919) 530-6365.
Please log into Symplicity, navigate to the left hand side. Look under “My Account” and select “Graduate Employment Survey.” The deadline to complete the survey is April 15th and available in Symplicity at https://law-nccu-csm.symplicity.com/students/?signin_tab=0. If you have questions please contact Career Services at lawcareerservices@nccu.edu.
If you are graduating and do not have a job yet please contact Career Services to have a 1:1 Career Coaching session as well as prioritized resume reviews, interview support, networking skills training, job search and placement services. Complete an online Financial Aid Exit Counseling Session. Federal regulations require that all students who borrowed either Subsidized or Unsubsidized Federal here https://studentaid.gov/exit-counseling. You must do this as soon as possible, but no later than the April 23rd deadline . Once the exit counseling is complete, you are advised to print a copy for your records.
