Anthony J. Ervin studied accounting and received a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Phoenix and earned a Bachelor of Science at North Carolina Wesleyan College. During his nineteen years in higher education, he has co-authored and contributed to four articles in two major national magazines, U.S. News and World Report (Education Section) and Next Step Magazine. The articles address tips on how to effectively write a Law School Resume, how imperative it is for a Law School Application to reveal personality and demonstrate potential, the importance of a seamless transfer process from Community College to an Undergraduate Institution, and the need for effective Articulation Agreements among 2-year and 4-year Institutions.
Anthony serves and has served on many external committees such as the Pre-Law Advisors National Council 2020 Conference Logistics Committee, and the Executive Committee Member-at-Large for Carolina Association for College Registrars and Admissions Officers in 2007. In 2006, he participated in the Down East Partnership Community Voices Leadership Program. He is a current member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. (Delta Zeta Sigma Durham Chapter). Anthony was selected as a participant in the North Carolina Central University Management Development Institute (MDI) University’s Leadership Program.
