School of Law Announce Partnership Combating Employee Misclassification.

NC Industrial Commission Employee Classification Section and North Carolina Central School of Law Announce Partnership Combating Employee Misclassification.

The NC Industrial Commission Employee Classification Section and North Carolina Central School of Law have partnered to combat Employee Misclassification throughout the State of North Carolina. This partnership will allow the efficient use of technology to reach to all corners of North Carolina.  The Employee Classification Section’s strategic partnership with the NCCU School of Law Virtual Justice Project will allow the Employee Classification Section to fulfill its statutory authority to educate the community on worker misclassification.

The direct connection between Employee Misclassification Section’s mission to identify businesses that engage in activities of Employee Misclassification, and NCCU’s motto of “Truth and Service” allow the state institutions to collaborate in exposing violations of North Carolina agencies’ operating statutes while capitalizing on investments in the public educational institutions of North Carolina.
