Roger Locklear and Amy Crowe (pictured with Dean Wendy Scott) participated in the Annual National Native American Law Student Association (NALSA) Moot Court Competition in New York City at Columbia Law School, February 24-27, 2011.

They are the first team from NCCU School of Law and from any law school in North Carolina to compete in this event. They competed against 66 teams from all across the United States.

Special thanks to Dean Wendy Scott who prepped the team and traveled with them. Also, the team would like to thank Professor Susan Hauser, Judge Ernest Fullwood, and Judge William Webb for all of their help in preparing the team for competition.
