Captain Jabari “JB” Craddock, a current second year law student, was recently promoted to the rank of Major. A promotion ceremony was held at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) School of Law on February 8, 2011.
Major General Gregory Lusk, the Adjutant General for the North Carolina Army National Guard, promoted Craddock to his current grade.

The ceremony was officiated by Major Norman Walls. Craddock has had his legal education interrupted twice due to calls of duty to serve two tours in Iraq. He is a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal for Meritorious Service.
