Neely joined the North Carolina Central University School of Law Library on December 3, 2018, as the Library’s Digital Services Librarian.  Prior to coming to North Carolina Central, Neely received his Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Washington. He received his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2016. He received his Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University in 2016. Neely received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Western Carolina University in 2010.

Neely is an active member of the law library profession. Currently a member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (SEAALL). Neely has presented at SEAALL.

As a student at Cumberland School of Law, Neely served as a Research and Writing Editor for The American Journal of Trial Advocacy.

Neely is a member of the Missouri Bar.
