Jonathan T. Beeker has been the Access Services Librarian in the Law Library since December 2010. Prior to joining the staff at North Carolina Central University, he worked as the Campus Librarian for ECPI College of Technology in Manassas, Va. and Raleigh, N.C. During his tenure with ECPI, Beeker ran the day to day operations of the library, created online learning modules, created a tutoring center in the library, and coordinated textbook purchasing for the entire campus.
Currently new to the world of law libraries, Beeker is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (SEAALL). He is looking forward to learning more about law librarianship, particularly where his new duties intersect most with his professional interests, including information literacy, technology, and online learning. Beeker is currently in charge of circulation, document delivery services, inter-library loan, course reserves, and stacks maintenance (including microfiche collections and Clinic holdings).
