Diann Seigle is the Executive Director for Carolina Dispute Settlement Services, and has practiced in the field of alternative dispute resolution since 1997. Seigle’s practice includes mediation and arbitration in the divorce, employment, business and district court arenas, where she has settled thousands of cases. Areas of particular interest include research and implementation of mediation in domestic violence cases and conflict resolution management system design in the health care industry and governmental agencies.
Seigle has served as a speaker and trainer at various mediation seminars and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) conferences. She has been an instructor for the ADR Clinic at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) School of Law since 2000. She currently serves on the Wake County Domestic Violence Task force, the North Carolina Bar Association ADR Section Council and is a second term commissioner to the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission.
Seigle is an Advanced Practitioner member of the Association for Conflict Resolution and the Academy of Family Mediators. She holds degrees in Psychology and Special Education from the University of Montana.
