Biography

Austin Martin Williams joined NCCU Law Library as the Assistant Law Library Director on December 1, 2015. Prior to joining the library, Williams served as the Coordinator of Research Instructional Services at Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia.  As the Coordinator of Research Instructional Services, Williams provided reference and instructional services and taught two courses, Research Methods in Law and Georgia Legal Research.

Williams is an active member of the law library profession. He has authored several articles, book chapters, and CALI lessons, as well as presented at national and regional conferences. Williams is currently a member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (SEAALL).

As a student at NCCU School of Law, Williams served as a Senior Editor for the North Carolina Central Law Review and as the Treasurer of the Hispanic Law Students Association.
