The File It Yourself Clinic can help you get a custody order to help prevent those unexpected custody dillemmas.  Sponsored by the Family Law Clinic at North Carolina Central University School of Law, the File It Yourself Clinic holds monthly workshops in Durham and Wake County.  You will learn some basic family law and receive the forms to file your own custody or visitation  lawsuit.  The lawsuit will provide you with access to a free custody mediator that will help you attempt to resolve your issues without going to court, and may eliminate your need for an attorney.
