On August 18, 2010, Charles C. Jalloh, an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, gave the first 2010 R.J. Reynolds Distinguished Visiting Professor Lecture at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) School of Law.
Earlier that day, Jalloh gave a separate talk to the faculty entitled Universal Jurisdiction in a Divided World: The Case of the African and European Unions. On August 19, 2010, Professor Jalloh taught a student seminar focusing on the Special Court for Sierra Leone.
The next R.J. Reynolds Distinguished Visiting Professor Lecture will be given by Judy Scales Trent, Professor Emerita at The University at Buffalo Law School, on October 20, 2010 at the School of Law. Her topic will be Women and the Law in Senegal.
