2016 AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN
AND THE LAW CONFERENCE
The Transformative Justice Coalition (Barbara R. Arnwine) and the African American Policy Forum (Kimberle Crenshaw) have partnered with the National Education Association to host the 2016 African American Women and the Law Conference in Washington, D.C. on September 13 & 14. The day and a half conference is designed to generate proposals for policy initiatives that can be implemented by legislative, executive and community action to end the structural racism, patriarchy and violence that diminishes Black women’s lives. Please follow us on Facebook at AAWLC or on Twitter @AAWLC2016 to find out more information about how to register for this event!
Please forward this invitation to your networks, colleagues, and friends to help this conference become a success. Additionally, feel free to make an in-kind donation to the conference at the link provided above, to contribute to the #SaveOurSistersScholarships.
We thank you, in advance, for all of your support.
In sisterhood, solidarity, and service,
