Joint Degree Programs

To participate in any of the above-referenced programs, the candidate must apply and be accepted to both the School of the Law and the advanced degree program of his/her choice. Prospective joint degree students should investigate these options prior to or at the end of their first year of study at the School of Law. The lone exception is the J.D. /M.P.P. program with Duke University, where it is preferred that students complete the first year of the M.P.P. program before beginning their studies at the School of Law. Qualified candidates can typically expect to receive their joint degree in a four-year period.
