North Carolina Central University invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for the position of Dean of the School of Law. We seek a Dean with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset, tenacious drive and service-oriented heart. It is important that the next Dean be an advocate for the Law School’s founding mission: to provide a high quality, personalized, practice-oriented and affordable legal education to historically underrepresented students from diverse backgrounds in order to help diversify the legal profession. The Dean will work closely with the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and other deans and academic leaders, under the overall University leadership of Chancellor Dr. Johnson O. Akinleye.
