NCCU School of Law Hooding Ceremony

The School of Law’s Hooding Ceremony will be Friday, May 3, at 4 p.m at Kings Park International Church in Durham. The Hooding Ceremony is a momentous occasion for graduates, faculty, staff, families, and friends to come together and celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating class of 2024.  

The School of Law is honored to welcome keynote speaker, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, the 83rd Attorney General of the United States (2015-2017), who will address the Juris Doctor candidates.

143RD COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES

The NCCU baccalaureate, graduate and professional ceremonies will take place at the McDougald-McLendon Arena on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
The graduate and professional ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. Graduating students are advised to arrive by 7 a.m. for line-up in the arena. For commencement information, visit nccu.edu.

Inspired in 2020, the SJREI addresses systemic racism and other forms of inequality through interdisciplinary problem solving that researches the legacy of racial injustice and advances a just and prosperous society for all people.

Technology Law and Policy center

NCCU School of Law was awarded a five-million-dollar, five -year social equity grant that provides summer internships for law students at Intel Corporation, mentoring, networking and scholarship opportunities for students.
